Title: Production Manager
Location: Near Bensenville, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $80k-$90k/yr.
Job Duties:
- Manage, control, and improve manufacturing processes
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks
- Monitor, measure, and reduce waste
- Minimize work in process inventory and manufacturing lead times
- Develop and train group leaders and supervisors
- Manage production and employee issues
- Motivate, train, and develop employees
- Manufacture high-quality products
- Interface with engineering for design improvements
- Ensure a safe and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Administer company policies and procedures
- Determine and pursue continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- Minimum 10 years related experience with at least 3 years of management
- Ability to manage 60-70 people
- Knowledge of engineering concepts (BOM, costing, design, CAD)
- Excellent problem-solving and project management
- Excellent leadership, motivation, and development skills
