Role: Production Manager

Role Summary
We are recruiting for a talented Production Manager to join our team based in New York, USA.
The ideal candidate will be fashion obsessed with strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in collaboration with the CEO, Buyers, Merchandisers and Designers you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process from design concept through final production, ensuring production meets demand.
- Effectively coordinate the designers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure efficient production scheduling and timely delivery of products.
- Ensure production meets quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements.
- Source and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality materials and production standards.
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the production process to ensure products meet all quality and safety requirements.
- Oversee production budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and production is completed and delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure production milestones and deadlines are met, addressing any delays or issues promptly.
- Oversee the creation and approval of production samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses.
Requirements
- At least 4 years experienced in a similar role
- An exceptional understanding of fashion demonstrating the ability to grow a business profitably
- Strong commercial awareness
- Strong product selection skills, combining data and knowledge/feel to select the right product for the right place
- Strong analytical mind set and ability, with proven experience in an analytical role
- To be able to problem solve & make decisive decisions
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal & written skills, as well as demonstrating excellent relationship management skill
- You have proven ability to build, lead and manage teams
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables with hard deadlines
