Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Manage and streamline day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
Production Coordination: Oversee the entire production process from material sourcing to product delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely execution.
Supply Chain Management: Implement and refine strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce lead times, and control costs while maintaining product quality and sustainability standards.
Vendor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements, implementing innovative solutions and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate operational risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place to address potential disruptions in production or supply chain processes.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key operational metrics, manage budgets, and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
Technology Integration: Work with the technology team to implement tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and provide real-time insights into supply chain and production metrics.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in operations management, particularly in fashion manufacturing, production, or supply chain management.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while effectively balancing multiple responsibilities.
Must have previous experience in fashion companies
Experience working with apparel manufacturers based in Asia is required.
Exceptional problem-solving skills focused on process optimization and operational efficiency.
Experience in vendor management, including negotiations and relationship building.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize operations.
An energetic, positive, and entrepreneurial personality with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across departments.
Bachelors degree in business, operations, supply chain management, or a related field;
Willingness to travel to Asia periodically as needed to oversee production and supply chain activities.
Previous experience in fashion companies, particularly in the contemporary fashion space.
