A leading brick manufacturer headquartered in Durham, N.C. founded in 1959 with an original plant beginning production in 1960 is looking for a Superintendent to lead their facility in Wadesboro, NC (SE of Charlotte). Candidates should be self- motivated and team- oriented with safety as their #1 priority.Over the past 50+ years, the organization has grown in size, capacity, and innovation. Now, four plants are in central North Carolina along with their corporate office in Durham, N.C. This organization has been the brick manufacturer of choice for residential and commercial customers in over 30 states across the U.S. Its products are currently supplied to dealers and distributors, masons, and construction professionals from the Carolinas to VA, GA, and beyond.Responsibilities primarily include the following:- Managing all night shift production activities across various departments and personnel- Reporting daily communications and shift reports that summarize productivity, downtime and communication to oncoming shift- Advocate and prioritize leading by example in fostering a safe workplace addressing issues and concerns as they arise- Continuous improvement mindset when working towards consistent quality standards- Knowledge of mechanical and automated machinery, with the ability to assist in troubleshooting operational issues to guide operations more smoothly.Base salary, medical, vision, dental, 401k with match.
