Rodgers Wade, part of the Harrison, Walker & Harper (HWH) family of companies, turns wood, laminates, metals and LED lighting into unique retail fixtures for leading global brands.JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the direction, supervision, and productivity of 2nd Shift Mill and Shop. Follows detailed work schedule, ensures quality and quantity standards, as well as production and safety procedures and goals are met. Supervises and trains personnel and other similar duties pertaining to the Mill and Shop.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all 2nd shift employees in the Mill and Shop and assigns daily work duties.
- Responsible for all relevant intercompany communication with HR and Safety pertaining to PTO, Safety training, employee benefit changes, etc.
- Ensures work rules are observed. Ensures work crew starts and finishes on time.
- Ensures crew is properly staffed and that proper standards of workmanship and maximum productivity are maintained.
- Maintains output level to support production schedule.
