We are currently assisting our client with a Production Manager search near Athens, GA. This position will be responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring strong employee engagement for a large workforce. This position will also be expected to find opportunities for building production processes, continuous improvement, building employee relationships through teamwork, and increasing operations efficiency. This is a high-impact position that will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and optimize headcounts for each department
• Manage and respond to employee relation issues regarding all production workforce (supervisors and operators)
• Coach and train managers
• Address complaints and resolve problems of managers he/she leads
• Report on key production activities/results
• Assign and direct work for all managers
• Ensure safety and policies are followed
• Recommend continuous improvement activities to improve quality and reduce cost

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Engineering or related field
• 8-10 years of relevant experience and 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in automotive industry
