Job Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for the safe, timely, effective, and profitable execution of the planning, quoting, and fulfillment of both shop and on-site service work at a customer-owned facility. The individual must coordinate activities and schedule resources with the inside and outside sales team, Operations Supervisor, and technician team. Additionally, the Production Manager is expected to be an expert in all the repair services the company provides and must be able to communicate with customers daily.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret information received through customer surveys for use in continuous improvement in the department
- Responsible for overseeing the corresponding service offerings at all branches dealing with identified and agreed targeted corporate accounts
- Ensure/oversee safe planning and accomplishment of both shop and on-site service work
- Manage time and material resources in order to execute both shop and on-site service profitably and in accordance with the contracted scope of work
- Assist, or when required lead, the quotation/bidding of both shop and on-site service work
- Schedule resources by coordination with the inside and outside sales team, Operations Supervisor, and technician teams
- Serve as a technical resource for all the repair services the company provides and extremely knowledgeable of applicable industry codes and standards
- Drive continuous process and quality improvement in execution of Service work
- Communicate with customers daily for resource coordination, technical support, or sales calls
- Assist in troubleshooting/problem solving for customer field service and shop service issues
Positional Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education & Experience
- 10 years minimum industry experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Safety Council training
- Current TWIC card
- Preferred: Industrial valve/actuator OEM factory authorized training certificates
- Preferred: Certified Individual in accordance with the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessels
