Position Overview:We are seeking a Production/Operations Manager to lead and oversee critical aspects of construction and operations for our growing company. Specializing in affordable single-family homes ranging from $400K-$700K, we are also expanding into townhomes and a senior 55 community. This role demands a versatile leader who can navigate trade procurement, construction management, and field supervision while contributing to land procurement and due diligence processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including trade procurement, cost estimation, and field supervision.
- Manage and negotiate trade and cost agreements to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain and enforce safety protocols across all projects to uphold compliance and minimize risk.
- Plan and oversee building schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget.
- Collaborate with land acquisition teams to conduct due diligence for new developments.
- Provide leadership in developing trade relationships, securing agreements, and managing project costs.
- Serve as the point of contact for field supervision teams, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to company standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction management, preferably with affordable single-family homes or comparable projects.
- Proven experience in trade procurement, costing, and construction scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and field supervision practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a smaller company environment and take on multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
