Plant Operational Hours: Monday thru Friday- 1st & 2nd shifts, occasional overtime for production on the weekends.
Expected Hours Worked: 55-60 Hours weekly; with flexibility if needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the Plant with a focus on employee and food safety.
• Direct and schedule Supervisors and support staff – including interviewing, hiring, training, planning and schedule, performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving issues.
• Ensure daily production planning is in accordance with supply chain needs.
• Support quality standards, inventory accuracy and production planning schedules with a focus on reduction/avoidance of failure costs.
• Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
• Collect and analyze data to find places of Continuous Improvement reducing waste and overtime, and trigger corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
• Responsible for employee development, performance management and staffing with a focus on management by objectives (i.e.: KPIs, Plant Objectives, etc.).
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
