Production Material Handler 2nd Shift
Summary: The Production Material Handler is responsible for managing and delivering materials to support manufacturing processes. This role ensures the accurate and timely movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods within the production facility to maintain workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport materials and products between storage, production, and shipping areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed to prevent production delays.
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, including quantities and quality checks.
- Assist in staging materials for production runs and removing finished products to designated storage or shipping areas.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement using inventory management systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Collaborate with production teams to anticipate and fulfill material needs.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and promptly report any issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in warehouse or production environments preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
