DescriptionSSC Signs & Lighting, LLC is a national design, fabrication and installation sign company headquartered in DFW, Texas. We currently have openings for motivated future production team members. This position will be an integral part of the production department.Responsibilities include:
- Assembly of steel and aluminum signs and components from blueprints provided and input from Supervisory personnel
- Utilize various machinery and power tools to build products according to predetermined specifications and procedures
- Act as assistant to Floor Supervisors and other lead personnel in team assembly situations as necessary
- Become competent in MIG welds, various metal cutting sews, sheet metal shears and misc. power tools associated with metal fabrication
- This position will ultimately be required to master one or all the the areas of assembly, fabrication or painting of channel letters and box signs
RequirementsRequirements:
- Entry level person with less than one year industry related experience
- Use Bondo on seams, welds and surface defects, sand and acid wash areas for paint preparation
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have previous experience in the production of steel and aluminum components and assemblies
- Must possess competence in various metal cutting saws, sheet metal shears and misc. power tools associated with product assembly
- Utilization of paint tools
