Found in 1967, Quali Tech has been developing new techniques to formulate specialized combinations of ingredients resulting in high quality, cost-effective and innovative products and services guided by our values.World Class Customer ServiceUncompromising QualityFamily Feel/Professionally RunThe Production Operator's duties include performing manufacturing duties, machine operation and production work to manufacture food products and other specialty products according to established production, quality control and safety procedures and specifications.This is a full time, benefit eligible position - Hours are Monday-Friday 10pm to 6amEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow and observe all safety rules, good manufacturing practices, company rules and daily instructions from supervision.Keep all air hoses, ladders, tools and other equipment off the floor and stored in an appropriate place.Check all systems on a regular basis to keep all systems running freely and without blockage. Inspect and clean all cyclones and bag filters each hour.Check all process magnets once per 8-hour shift and log magnet check. Clean all accumulations and report any unusual findings to the Supervisor.Assist the Assistant Operator as needed and report any mechanical or flow problems to the Special Products Supervisor.Write work orders in the Maintenance work order program for all equipment needing repair.Complete all daily paperwork on time.Hanging new spouting, and fixing leaks in old spouting.Trouble shoot motors & machinery.Willing to learn and revise the most current SOP's.Communicate with production personnel about equipment issues.Provide product samples and make quality adjustments of products in response to results reported by the Quality Control Lab.Must clean up site after job completion to ensure that there is no contamination of Bunge's corn products.Report any infestation and/or contamination to ensure Bunge produces and ships a quality product.Education, Experience, Skills :High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.Physical Demands:Employee is frequently required to reach with arms and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and frequently bend/stoop, squat, push/pull, twist trunk, lift and carry or move more than 50 lbs. Employee must repetitively grasp objects simply and firmly and use fine manipulation dexterity. Must use hands occasionally at knee, mid-thigh and shoulder level and frequently from waist to chest level. Must use both feet together, separately and repetitively to operate equipment. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Must be able to hear and follow instruction.Work Hazards:Stand and walk on dusty or wet floors. Operate forklift. Handle chemicals and materials with hazards associated with each of them. Use/operate tools and equipment to perform various production tasks. Work around moving machinery. Lift more than 50 lbs.Work Environment:Exposure to noise, heat, excessive changes in temperature and humidity, and airborne dust particles.Safety Equipment:Bump caps, hearing protection, hair net, beard net (if applicable), dust mask, vapor mask, respirator (if required based on ingredient being handled), uniforms, safety glasses, non-vented goggles (if required based on ingredient being handled), gloves and safety boots.Benefits: Medical, Dental and vision Insurance, HSA, 401 (k), Life and AD&D, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program and Tuition Reimbursement.Pay Range:$22 - $24 per hour
