Vishay Dover is seeking a full-time employee who will work 7 AM - 10 AM each weekday as a Production Operator and 10 AM - 3:30 PM each weekday as a Water Spider. Candidates need technical knowledge about the processes associated with our production. Job Location:We're located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region, the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh in the U.S.A. We're less than seven miles from the main campus of UNH, and did you know that Dover even was the birthplace of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise? What you will be doing:Primary Responsibilities of a Production Operator:
  • These positions require the ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions to build, inspect and test electronic components.
  • The work may include assembly of intricate parts under a microscope where good manual dexterity is required.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a continuous work history.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to produce high-quality parts.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet Vishay's attendance policy.
  • Working Hours: Full-Time Days.
  • Overtime may be required.
Primary Responsibilities of a Water Spider:
  • Replenishing materials and supplies. Respond to requests from the production team to supply or return chemicals, tooling, and small equipment
  • Chemical mixing (Includes marking inks and adhesives). Mix chemicals at specified ratios per instructions using a digital scale. Coordinate timely delivery to production.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Water Spider area including equipment shelving, Vertical Storage Unit, and chemical mixing booth
  • Monitoring equipment use, availability, and calibration. Work with Maintenance and Quality Assurance to ensure equipment is in good condition and calibrated on time.
  • Collect used cleaning towels, distribute clean towels to production. Work with cleaning supply vendor to maintain an appropriate stock of towels, and bathroom and cleaning supplies.

  • Technical knowledge about the processes associated with our production
  • Attention to detail to ensure the correct material is supplied to production, and if it is a mixed chemical the mix ratio must be accurate.
  • Ability to understand what the production team needs, when it is needed, and be able to communicate and coordinate on-time delivery, especially of mixed chemicals with a specific pot life
  • Must use time efficiently and effectively, prioritizing tasks and approaching them methodically
