Salary: FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $19 - $23.50 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities: - The Production Operator performs all essential duties to package finished products into containers for shipments to our customers. Some of the key functions include but are not limited to:
- Completes ERP computer system transactions and related paperwork.
- Performs work in accordance with the production schedule provided by the production planner.
- Updates raw material inventory using ERP computer system.
- Uses barcode scanners to report production activity and inventory movement.
- Follows detailed instructions and guidelines for specialty packaging program.
Qualifications we are looking for: - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to read and follow manufacturing work instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintains attention to detail and accuracy when performing the job.
- Troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Ability to perform basic computer functions.
- Teamwork skills
- Computer skills such as ERP knowledge and Microsoft Office a plus
- Experience with barcode scanners a plus
