SUMMARY: Operates automated and manual equipment to produce quality product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
· Reads job specifications or work instructions to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
· Operates automated production line.
· Performs inspection on product for adhesion, solderability, thickness and alloy.
· Performs line Maintenance and bath maintenance.
· Uses microscope for visual inspection.
· Reports work piece defects or machine malfunction to manager.
· Performs Discharge analysis and performs discharge operation.
· Makes Minor adjustments and calibrations.
· Performs Boiler Maintenance and operates water system.
· Calibrates and operates Atomic Absorption Analysis and X Ref.
· Performs shipping, receiving and inventory duties.
· Performs Part Setups.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:
· Completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED),
· One to three years related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
· Ability to write simple correspondence.
· Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
· Ability to comprehend simple decimals and fractions.
· Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
· Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
· Ability to input data into Excel.
· Ability to maintain tools and equipment utilized in assignments and perform minor adjustments to tools and equipment.
