Production Operator

Responsibilities:Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlyDemonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeMaintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaceResponsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assignedResponsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shiftMay be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipmentsAssist in changeovers when neededIs responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slittersResponsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goalsPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor or ManagerRequirements:Experience in a fast-paced, Manufacturing EnvironmentMust be able to load and unload material into machinery repeatedly - 25-40 pounds at a timeContinuous shift operation - 12 hour shifts 6am-6pm. 3 days one week, 4 days the following weekMust have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environmentBasic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurementsDo you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
