Buffalo Tungsten, a leading manufacturer and global supplier of high purity tungsten powder is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Operator. As a production operator you will operate machinery and equipment to produce tungsten metal powder.Second Shift runs from 4pm to 12am (midnight). You will work a six day on, two day off work schedule. Days off rotate each week over an 8-week cycle. For example, one week you have Saturday and Sunday off, the next week Sunday and Monday, then Monday and Tuesday, etc. Starting Pay: $19.25/hourResponsibilities:Report for all assigned shiftsOperate manufacturing machinery and equipmentMeasure precisely and keep accurate recordsMonitor production conditions such as temperature and gas flowsOperate a forklift to move material around the plant, load and unload trucks and equipmentComplete work orders and requests in a timely fashionPack material and prepare for shipmentAdhere to safety policies and proceduresMaintain a clean work areaQualifications:No experience necessary - training providedPrevious experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields is beneficialRequires standing or walking most of shiftRegularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shiftAble to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distancesHigh School Diploma or Equivalent is preferredBenefit Conditions:Only full-time employees eligibleWaiting period may apply to some benefits401(k) with match, Health and Dental Insurance, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance and Paid Time OffBTI is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
