Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Centerline is currently seeking applicants for a Production Operator in the Lapping department. Vishay Centerline is located in Hudson, Massachusetts. There are around 20 employees in this machine shop operation and it is a first shift operation. This role is an on-site position. What you will be doing:
- Cut fixtures with scroll saw
- Check the tables and machines regularly
- Measure pieces before, during and after processing
- Determine the optimal run-time for each job based on specifications
- Load parts and run 1-2 machines at the same time
- Flip and rotate parts to ensure an even finish
- Follow prescribed safety regulations
What you will bring along:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
- Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
