Position SummaryAs a Production Operator within our factories, you will have your hands in it all. You'll train in several functional areas within the manufacturing environment so you can effectively provide support to our production teams. Since safety is a top priority at Purina, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition. Your ability to acclimate and solve problems quickly will be critically important, as unforeseen equipment issues may arise throughout the normal operation day. - Safely operate production equipment, including fork truck, packing lines and processing equipment.
- Produce quality products and deliver products on time at the specified rates.
- Perform quality checks that meet product specifications.
- Perform proper Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
- Perform designated mechanical work on equipment to make operation run at efficient and timely pace.
- Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
- Support the factory in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements - 12 months+ experience working in a manufacturing, production, agriculture, warehouse, military or related environment
The approximate pay rate for this position is $24.15. Please note that the pay rate provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
