Description Position Details: Title: Production Operator Location: Pataskala, OH Shift: 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available The 1st two weeks you will be working Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5pm during onboarding. Once onboarding is complete, you will transition to the 2-2-3 schedule. 1st shift | 6:00am - 6:30pm 2nd Shift | 6:00pm - 6:30am Compensation: $26/hour Benefits: Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life and Disability Insurance (begins the 1st of the month after you start) as well as generous PTO (2 weeks + 3 emergency days off per year) + a perfect attendance program that allows you to earn 2 extra hours of PTO per month if you have perfect attendance and no current points. Position Description| Production Operator As the Production Operator, you will primarily be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring the quality of output, and adhering to standard operating procedures. This role typically reports to a production team leader. Responsibilities Include: • Set up and operate production equipment to produce various commercial products following specifications, blueprints, and diagrams. • Monitor production output to ensure quality and conformance to required metrics. • Maintain accurate records of production activities, reporting any inconsistencies or equipment issues in a timely manner. • Adhere to established safety protocols, including material handling guidelines and the use of protective gear. • Provide timely feedback on any production abnormalities or deviations from SOPs. • Assist new employees and team leaders in achieving their tasks and work targets. Accept temporary job reassignments as needed. • Execute work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist the team leader in meeting various production goals. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a military veteran with a strong understanding of production safety and 6S workplace standards. Soldering experience is preferred. You should possess strong coordination, communication, planning, and execution skills and be a team player who is willing to learn.
