Shifts available: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7aWhat You'll Do:
  • Set-up, operate and clean a section of the manufacturing line as per work instructions and safe operating procedures; this may include but is not limited to paper saturation and/or chemical mixing equipment
  • Coordinate and sustain raw materials on assigned manufacturing process
  • Serve as SME in operating and troubleshooting applicable manufacturing equipment
  • Execute Lock-out tag-out of equipment for servicing and cleaning
  • Independently read and interpret production and shipping schedules
  • Perform sampling and testing and make process adjustments per guidelines
  • Operate a forklift to move materials
  • Communicate effectively with operations and support team members of any deviations or abnormalities
  • Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to facilitate safety improvements
  • Follow all site rules and procedures as they apply to quality, health, safety, and the environment
  • Works in close coordination with the Lead Operator to accomplish the tasks needed to safely and efficiently meet production and maintenance schedules across all processes
  • Responds to process alarms and interlocks promptly and coordinates timely to resolve conditions generating these alarms and interlocks
  • Performs troubleshooting in the event of process deviations
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
  • Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to facilitate safety improvements
  • Collaborate with management to meet the production and shipping schedule
  • Help to meet and exceed production, waste, and quality goals
  • Become Forklift Certified
To be successful, you will need:
  • High School Diploma Required or GED.
  • Forklift experience a plus but must be able to become certified.
  • Analytical and mechanical mindset needed to be successful in this role.
  • Previous chemical/processing experience a plus.
  • Must be capable of following strict Health and Safety Guidelines and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Position is very mobile throughout the facility but the ability to sit, stand, walk and climb to elevated areas.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a warm environment
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Basic math, reading and follow instruction is a must
