We're seeking a Production Operator to work at a premier client in Websterville Vermont USA 05678Pay rate and Shiftl Job Duration: 2+ Month (Temp to hire)l Shift: 3rd shift (Mon-Friday 9pm-5:30am)Job Summary:l The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products.l There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product.l In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.Required Qualifications & Experiences:l 18 years or olderl 6+ months of manufacturing experiencel Basic computer skills.l Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skillsl GED or High School diploma preferred but not requiredPreferred Qualifications & Experiences::l 1+ years of continuous prior experience in any industryl Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervisionl Able to trouble shoot mechanical problemsl Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operatorsl Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative teaml Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedulel Knowledge of various pieces of high tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment. Examples include but not limited to baggers, palletizers and cookers.l Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and directionsl Able to work in a fast-paced environmentl Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the dayl Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)l Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasksPhysical Requirements for production positions regularly include:l Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsl Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipmentl Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is presentl Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtimel Travel: N/ADairy Foods:l This role is at a Dairy Foods manufacturing facility, creating dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness.l We believe there's power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people's lives.What happens next:Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
