ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate finishing lines and water treatment as scheduled to meet production needs.
- Replace grinding wheels and saw blades on the rectifying line.
- Replace flickers and refill additives on the polishing line.
- Replenish chemicals and additives
- Check, tighten, and replace the belts.
- Power wash the polishing machine at shift's end.
- Power wash the water treatment plant when needed.
- Empty the broken tile hoppers when needed.
- Empty the dust collector hopes when needed.
- Empty the mud cakes hopper when needed.
- Fill the daily report on polishing tools consumption.
- Operate Tecnoferrari loader/unloader when needed.
- Assist maintenance with the troubleshooting process.
- Make notes of possible problems and notify the supervisor so corrections can be made.
- Document work as it is completed
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed and accept night weekend call-ins for emergency work.
- Operate TGV's
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Computer experience preferred.
- Must have at least 2 - 3 years' manufacturing experience.
