This position will be focusing primarily on our Energy Systems line of business, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.
****Job Purpose****
Coordinates and prepares shipping documents, moves products, and runs daily production reports. Starting salary is $18.00 per hour.
****Essential Duties and Responsibilities****
* Count and record products that are received and compare with shipping documents.
* Check product quality and record if different or damaged.
* Complete and maintain documents from receiving
* Enter entries into company inventory management systems (SAP)
* Move products in the warehouse using a forklift and hand jack
* Communicate respectfully with team members
* Keep the warehouse clean and organized by removing unused materials, relabeling, and repackaging
* Use computer system to track inventory changes and look up parts and investigate inventory challenges
* Identify and look up incorrect part number and provide recommendations to inventory problems
* Restock parts
* Complete and submit paperwork on time and accurately
****Qualifications****
**Minimum Qualifications**
* Strong attention to detail to confirm proper product arrives and check product numbers
* 6 months of work or volunteer experience
* Basic MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to read and follow detailed safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
* Basic math and counting skills.
* Ability to get a forklift certification within 60 days of hire
* Strong verbal, written, auditory and spoken English.
* Comfortable speaking people from different companies daily

* Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
* This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
* Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
