Production Patternmaker (onsite in DTLA – salary 90-110K)
As a production patternmaker, your primary responsibility will be to create and develop patterns for mass production in the apparel industry. You will work closely with designers, technical designers, and manufacturers to ensure accurate and efficient pattern development.
Key qualifications for this role include:
1. Proficiency in patternmaking software such as Optitex or similar.
2. Strong knowledge of garment construction, sizing, and grading principles.
3. Previous experience working with PLM systems to manage patterns and related data.
4. Familiarity with 3D CLO or Browzwear software is a definite plus.
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret design sketches into precise patterns.
6. Experience working with retailers like Target, Walmart, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Your responsibilities may also include conducting fittings on prototypes or samples, making necessary adjustments to patterns based on fit feedback, and collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth workflow during manufacturing.
This position requires you to work on-site five days a week.
