Job Description:
The Production Planner in Energy Remanufacturing is responsible to act as the administrative control tower and ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time. This person will also create and maintain reports, report on KPIs and work to improve information flow in Production.The ideal candidate possesses strong computer skills, and experience working in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.The individual will work with Tesla Service, Production Planning, Logistics, and Remanufacturing worldwide. This position requires a person who understands manufacturing processes and material flow, has a strong grasp of the total automotive supply chain, and can successfully communicate cross-functionally. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Service Channel Planning to reconcile Service Demand vs production capacity
  • Ensure Service Parts availability to meet daily/weekly requirements from Service Centers
  • Coordinate and execute high priority, time-critical and/or abnormal Service Part requests
  • Act on unfillable orders by coordinating a supply solution with the responsible group
  • Work directly with Production Planning (Factory and Reman) to ensure production schedules align
  • Reconcile production availability vs. Service demand with responsible Planners to ensure supply
  • Collaborate with Reman Conveyance and Direct Ship Team to ensure outbound priorities are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline or equivalent expierence
  • 5+ years' experience in Production Control Material/Demand Planning or Supply Chain Management
  • Analytical capabilities including data analysis to optimize production
  • Strong proficiency and proven experience in MS Excel is required
  • Knowledge of WARP, MES, MTT and Dangerous Goods are valued assets
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage daily planning operations and assigned projects simultaneously
  • Command the english language both written and verbal

      • Associate Production Planner - $57,800 - $86,700/annual salary
      + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
