Job Description:
This opportunity is onsite and located at: 3102 Lintner Road Big Springs, TX 79720 Work Schedule: - Rotating Schedule (7/7): The position operates on a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule, with 12-hour shifts. The workweek spans from Sunday to Saturday, with a rotating schedule of Wednesday-to-Wednesday shifts. s a Production Planner/Support I, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth production operations by effectively creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules. You will collaborate with various departments, monitor material inventories, and track production progress, ensuring that schedules align with customer demand, capacity constraints, and other key operational factors. This role requires strong analytical skills to maintain planning systems, track compliance, and support business-critical decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: - Production Scheduling: Define, create, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer requirements, and internal capacity constraints. Ensure alignment with operational goals and compliance with schedule utilization dynamics. - Inventory Management: Monitor material inventories to ensure adequate stock levels for production. Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to avoid shortages or excesses. - Manufacturing Progress Monitoring: Track and analyze manufacturing progress to ensure timely production and delivery. Identify any deviations from the schedule and work to resolve issues quickly. - System Maintenance: Maintain the planning system, ensuring data accuracy, up-to-date scheduling, and optimal functionality to support production operations. - ERP Process Execution: Execute ERP system processes, generating reports to provide real-time data for decision-making. Share timely information with relevant teams to drive scheduling and business decisions. - Compliance & Utilization Tracking: Track schedule compliance and capacity utilization, identifying any bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process. Recommend adjustments to optimize throughput and productivity. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with demand planners, production teams, and supply chain staff to ensure seamless communication and alignment across departments. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent - Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. - Familiarity with ERP systems and planning software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production demands. - Strong communication and organizational skills. A minimum of 2 years of Production Planning experience in Oil & Gas is required. The pay range for this position is 31.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location. Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
