Duties/Responsibilities Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of aerospace, defense industrial, and commercial products. Maintains schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Creates, maintains, and closes material orders as they progress through all production sequences listed on the routing. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Required Skills/Abilities Working knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, quality basics, and engineering flows. Experience with capacity planning, and creating production schedules and loading into ERP system in a manufacturing environment. Experience with export control. Experience modifying production schedules for increased efficiency. Experience tracking, reporting and presenting status reports. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Demonstrated working experience in a similar role particularly in an aerospace environment. CPIM and Green or Black Belt certifications is a plus. Computer knowledge Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project. ERP Systems. (Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus). Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. 6010.
