This is a pivotal role within our manufacturing operations, where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production planning. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manufacturing, with a focus on forecasting and raw materials management. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.ResponsibilitiesThe Permanent Production Planner will be responsible for the following:1. Developing and maintaining detailed production plans and schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency in line with business objectives.2. Forecasting production needs based on sales trends, customer orders, and historical data.3. Managing and coordinating raw material inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are available for production as per the schedule.4. Collaborating with various departments such as Sales, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure seamless operations.5. Identifying potential bottlenecks or delays in the production process and implementing solutions to mitigate any potential impact on delivery timelines.6. Continuously monitoring and adjusting production plans as necessary to reflect changes in demand or production capabilities.7. Implementing and maintaining effective production planning systems and processes to support business growth and scalability.QualificationsThe ideal candidate for the Permanent Production Planner position will possess the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment.3. Proven experience in forecasting and raw materials management.4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic production plans.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.6. Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.7.
