Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Production, Planning and Logistics Senior Manager and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

+ Supervise WHSE facilitator, Shipping Specialists and Inventory Specialists assuring WHSE compliance, safety regulations, shipping processes, cycle count processes and inventory management are achieved effectively.

+ Accountable for the effective execution of the Cycle Count, Receiving, VAULT, Warehouse and Shipping processes.

+ Lead and supervise the Inventory Specialists and activities by assuring that all counts are done accurately, on a timely manner, opportunities are identified, and action plan developed and completed to maintain or improve inventory accuracy.

+ Act as a point of contact within the San Angelo Leadership Team and related functions within Business Units and/or third parties for the coordination of all technical aspects of PP&L Management.

+ Act as a point of contact for external and internal audits to cover activities handled within PP&L, including but not limited to: cycle count audits, BSI and FDA audits, etc.

+ Establish new process procedures and practices using business excellence tools to improve operational performance. Ensure PP&L support to new product and new component introduction processes. Develop and implement new ideas focused on continuous process improvement, cost containment and efficiency.

+ Assure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), as well as Good Housekeeping and Ergonomics policies. Foster and enforce compliance with the Quality Policy and the Plant's vision.

+ Serve as back up in the absence of the Production, Planning and Logistics Sr. Manager. Represent the department on various committees, work groups and employee forums.

+ Identify and lead activities in the areas of responsibilities to develop and implement programs of continuous improvement, cost reduction, and total associate involvement.

**Qualifications**

Education:

+ Bachelor's degree (preferred: Engineering and/or Business) (BA) required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

+ a minimum of (4) years of supply chain/operations, medical device experience in a regulatory environment, and knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.

+ At least 2 years of supervisory experience

+ Ability to collaborate with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required.

+ Requires proven leadership, teamwork, initiative, creativity, people and assertiveness skills.

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

+ Strategic thinking, create, cultivate and implement change.

+ LEAN material flow, planning & scheduling knowledge preferred.

+ Ability to manage complexity.

+ Project management experience preferred.

Preferred:

+ CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and/or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certifications preferred.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.

+ Must have proven leadership, teamwork, creativity, assertiveness and analytical skills.

+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures is required on any type of industry. Medical devices knowledge preferred.

+ Demonstrate leadership, skills as a team player, driving value-added results and establishing credibility throughout the organization and with suppliers and customers.

Other:

+ The primary location of the Production Planning Scheduling Lead is on site at San Angelo, TX.

+ 10%+ of expected travel for domestic, international, or both.
