Job Description:
Production - Quality Associate The Production Quality Associate will help review and maintain assigned elements of quality associated with production operations/shipping, workmanship standards, procedures and documentation used to validate compliance. DUTIES INCLUDE: Conduct a variety of quality checks, throughout the day, as assigned, across a variety of functional areas to support manufacturing, production, and shipping operations. Review sales orders, sales receipts, invoices, and shipping documents for compliance to order requirements. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills is a must. Excellent visual acuity required. Preparing and documenting procedures. People oriented - enjoys interacting with people and participating in quality and continuous improvement projects. Approaches quality as an extension of the production operations and not a policing role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Perform a wide variety of tasks simultaneously. Adaptable/flexible - enjoys doing work that may require frequent shifts in direction. Work effectively and efficiently with minimal direct supervision. High stress tolerance - thrives in a high-pressure environment. Ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours a day. Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50lbs. Help to support and perform production work as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate - 2 years college/vocational education and/or certificate in quality preferred but not required. Relevant quality experience working in a manufacturing/production environment may be considered in lieu of the minimum educational requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Quality experience preferred but not required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Estimated shift times: 1st shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Ability to work full-time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday and have the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays when necessary.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required.
