Production Scheduler/PurchasingLocation: Allentown, PA 18018Position Type: Long term (12 months)Schedule: Mon-Fri- 8-5Pay: $30-$36/HRThe Production Scheduler/Purchasing will be responsible to set up systems for the tracking of key production indicators, determine manufacturing schedule to maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw material as well as focus on the dollar value of raw materials and finished goods inventories with intent to minimized investmentResponsibilities:* Set up systems for the tracking of key production indicators, determine manufacturing schedules to maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw m materials* Review of daily inventory and sales report* issuance of weekly and monthly PSI report and production schedules* Follow up on timely product releases and monitor raw materials availability* Focus on the dollar value of raw materials and finished goods inventories with intent to minimized investment* Interface with various departments - Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure schedule dates and requirements are being met* Perform basic details scheduling duties as required* Verify component inventory is available for completion of schedule* Work with business units' management to ensure labor and equipment capacity is available to complete scheduleRequirements:* Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination education with experience* 2-4 years related experience required* Strong understanding of fundamental scheduling processes and controls* Experience using computer-based materials software including MRP and SAP* Basic knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field* Ability to resolve all day-to-day problems* APICS Certificate a plusAfter you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
