Job Description:
DescriptionAbout Us: At WB Industries, we're more than just a workplace - we're a certified Great Place to Work! We believe in fostering a positive, collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and your career can thrive. Join us and be part of a team that's driving innovation in the manufacturing industry! Objective: Are you detail-oriented, data-driven, and ready to make an impact? We're looking for a Production Scheduler to bring clarity and precision to our operations. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our production process, turning data into actionable plans that keep our projects on track and our communication clear. What You'll Do: As our Production Scheduler, you'll work closely with the Director of Manufacturing to keep our operations running smoothly. You'll create project-specific schedules using Gantt charts, and you'll be hands-on with our production scheduling software, ensuring it's up-to-date and accurate. Your keen eye for detail will help monitor and report on daily and monthly output, efficiency, and other key performance metrics, making sure we're always on target. What You Bring to the Table: You've got experience in scheduling and planning, ideally within the aerospace, commercial, or machining industries. You know your way around different labor types - from cutting and welding to machining, painting, and assembly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Projects) is a must, as are strong organizational skills. You're a natural problem-solver who can juggle multiple priorities, initiate projects, and see them through to the finish line. Plus, you're a great communicator, able to work effectively with everyone from coworkers to supervisors and external contacts. A Few Essentials: This role requires a high school diploma, though an Associate's Degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field is a plus. You should have at least 1 year of experience as a Production Scheduler in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years of experience being ideal - especially if it's within aerospace, commercial, or machining industries. Physical and Work Environment: You'll be working in both office and production environments, with 100% of your time spent on-site. While this position is mostly sedentary, it does involve occasional standing, walking, and reaching. The shop environment can get noisy, and while we've got you covered from the elements inside, you may need to brave the weather when moving between buildings. Why Join Us? When you join our team, you're not just taking on a job - you're joining a company that truly values its employees. As a Great Place to Work certified company, we're committed to providing a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic work environment where you can grow your skills and advance your career. Ready to Apply? If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a team that's as passionate about precision and planning as you are, we'd love to hear from you!
