Job Title: Production Scheduler

Job Description

The Production Scheduler is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the production schedule for the manufacturing shop floor. This position will be responsible for scheduling and coordination of all processing equipment, managing proper machine capacity and available work hours, adjusting the schedule based on customer needs, equipment downtime, etc., and resolving conflicts with Procurement, Sales, and Operations. The role involves interactions with operators on the shop floor to communicate scheduling and production needs, coordinating with RSG, Local Operations, and Sales to create an efficient schedule, reviewing orders and processing instructions to ensure compliance with job work instructions, identifying skid and PVC film requirements, managing SAP transactions and reports to ensure order completion, reviewing ROAD performance data to identify areas of improvement, and identifying and implementing continuous improvements in all work processes.

This is a fully on-site position in Loves Park, Illinois.

Work Environment

This position is 1st shift, Monday to Friday. Smaller office environment with about 5 other people. Production has about 20 employees.
