Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Gainesville, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As a Production Scheduler, you will contribute to our vision by ensuring efficient, reliable, and cost-effective production processes.
  • By planning, coordinating, and optimizing the assembly line and work-center operations, you will directly impact the overall performance of the supply chain.
  • Support and Execute the Planning and Control Process for the Assembly line/work centers.
  • Implement the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and short-term work schedules for assembly lines and work centers, ensuring alignment with the production plan.
  • Perform Resource Capacity and Critical Path (RCCP) analysis, monitor critical resources, and propose plans to address bottlenecks and hazards to maintain service levels.
  • Develop detailed production schedules for assembly lines and work centers and adjust them as needed based on identified risks.
  • Work with external suppliers and internal scheduling teams to manage material requirements and critical parts, ensuring timely and accurate coordination.
  • Maintained accurate dynamic data in the ERP system, managed short-term demand changes with the Planning Manager, and upheld deadlines to meet customer commitments.
  • Measure and analyze performance in coordination with the Assembly lines/work centers using the defined Supply Chain metrics and provide the needed weekly/monthly reports.
  • Analyze the root cause of metrics not at the target level and work with the line management to develop the necessary action/recovery plans
  • Contribute to lean and improvement projects.
  • Ensure that changes introduced are replicated within the processes and ERP system to ensure the effectiveness of planning parameters
  • Ensure configuration management (updated articles, classifications and BOMs in ERP) and maintain the changes record sheet
  • Participate in rate Readiness and resources investment studies. Stock Takes, Audits & Assessments.
  • Analyze the detection of short and medium-term risks.
  • Attend Program Operations meetings and other required governance meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain or Business
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with procurement/supply chain/planning background in the manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in industry suppliers, product(s), and manufacturing capabilities
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with the site's organization
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain Planning Process
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Windows Operating System*, Microsoft Excel. PowerPoint, Word and Email
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with the information systems used in the Supply Chain, i.e. ERP, Supplier Portal
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Aerospace industry knowledge
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM certification from APICS
  • Detailed vision of production processes and the company's supply chain
  • Good technical knowledge of the markets of client products
  • Ability to work well in a matrix structure
  • Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Have the ability to generate written communication and to operate needed office equipment.
  • Ability to read and review written communication.
  • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individuals to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
