ResponsibilitiesMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for managing an accurate production schedule in Oracle, including adjusting based on production efficacy, sales priority, material availability, and engineering readinessResponsible for managing open slots in the schedule with Sales and ProductionMay coordinate the ordering and delivery for major components (units, bodies, and chassis)Communicates regularly with Production and Sales expected completion and delivery dates, now orders, open slots, and other information critical to meeting customer expectationsParticipates in regular meeting with Production, downstream customers, and the major component supply teams as neededSmoothing a schedule based upon pre-determined load capacityBasic understanding of all Altec principles and practices related to production output (i.e. custom-built timeline, BOMs & routings, job costing, sales ordering process, etc.)Ownership over materials team projects to continuously improve towards team goalsAll other duties as assigned by supervisor EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredandBachelor's Degree required or two years (internal) or three years (external) scheduler and/or CPIM/APICS certificationDemonstrated strong time management and prioritization of work requiredDemonstrates effective communication skills across multiple teams/departments requiredSkilled in Excel & Word required; Microsoft Office Suite intermediate experience preferred (PowerBi, Power Apps, etc.)EEO StatementAltec Industries, Inc. and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers and maintain affirmative action plans to recruit, retain, develop, and promote qualified individuals without unlawful consideration of race, gender, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
