The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range DSM expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.

Working with high visibility, your role as Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing the execution of the supply plan based on agreed upon lead times. Detailed production scheduling in the largest premix plant within dsm-firmenich's Human Nutrition & Health business. You will be part of our team at a single manufacturing.
facility producing thousands of product formulations to the food and dietary supplement markets. High service levels in these markets are differentiating factors and are critical to our customers success. Services levels are driven initially by adherence to production schedules. This is a make-to-stock and make-to-order business.

Responsibilities:
Responsible to ensure process orders are fulfilled on time and in full for the assigned plant by performing planning and scheduling activities.
Ensure transparency and priorities of orders to adhere to established rules and targets. Also, determine and maintain a visible production schedule with a fixed frozen window.
Collect and analyze cycle time data for accurate scheduling.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in extending the frozen window, increasing agility in delivery, etc.
Manage all schedule adherence performance and related KPIs for production and also make regular reports.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders in the Plan-Source-Make-Deliver-Return process (e.g., customer service, purchasing, supply chain.
Collaborate with onsite functions (e.g., quality, materials management, receiving) and partner with supply chain to ensure smooth flow of material, and consistent decisions based on customer-centricity. Also, other duties as assigned.

You bring :
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in production planning and /or scheduling. Additionally, manufacturing (shop floor) experience is preferred.
Must have SAP experience.
APICS CPIM certification highly desired.
Lean manufacturing principles experience
Ability of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
Demonstrated ability or experience to establish a new position and rapidly build trust and relationships.
Knowledge of food and/or pharma manufacturing principles and supply chain practices preferred.
