Production Shift Leader - 2nd Shift **Location:** Winona 1725 Facility; 1725 Wilkie Drive, Winona, MN 55987

**Shift/Hours:** 2nd Shift; Mondays-Thursdays, 3:00pm-1:00am

**Position Status:** Full-Time

**The Team:**

This role is a part of the production management team. The team works with and supports Co-Workers, Management, Human Resources, Customer Teams, Quality, Engineering, and the Training Department.

This position oversees and manages 2nd shift production employees and processes. Position Type: Full-Time Winona, MN Job Shift: 2nd Shift Job Category: Supervisor Company & Position Summary Responsibilities & Qualifications **You will spend your time:**

* Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning capacity, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.

* Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.

* Monitoring performance of production Cell Coordinators and production co-workers, and providing feedback to Cell Coordinators and co-workers

* Identifying training opportunities/requirements and recommend training to Cell Coordinators and co-workers.

* Training, mentoring and encouraging Cell Coordinators and coworkers growth and engagement

* Collaborating with Human Resources and Management in employee relation concerns and issues on 2nd shift

* Committed to a quality system that meets Customer requirements and creates high levels of Customer satisfaction.

* Complying with established manufacturing standards and Customer requirements.

* Maintaining and continually improving the effectiveness of our processes and services.

* Utilize lean and six-sigma principles to implement continuous improvement methodologies to increase production.

* Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards, strong emphasis on promoting within and assisting in career path development within RiverSide Integrated Solutions.

* Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports to detect production problems.

* Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.

* Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification.

* Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

* Participates with onsite customer audits as needed.

* Other duties as assigned.

**We are excited about you if you have:**

* A minimum of five years supervisory management experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred

* Experience in electronics assembly and/or contract manufacturing is a plus

* Four-year bachelors degree preferred

* Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

* Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills

* Experience with employee relations is strongly preferred

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Managing ones own time and the time of others.

* Knowledge with Microsoft Office software, and data base user interface, query software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

* Knowledge in production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and sales of goods.

* Knowledge in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials up to 10 pounds

* Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

* Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds with assistance

* Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking

**Work Environment:**

* Manufacturing setting

**Travel:**

* This position may travel between all RIS facilities; Lewiston and Winona.

* Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required.
