We are seeking a Rubber Extrusion Supervisor to oversee our rubber extrusion operations for our 2nd shift (3-11 pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of rubber processing techniques.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Supervision of Production: Lead and manage a team of rubber extrusion operators, ensuring that all production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Equipment Management: Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of extrusion machinery. This includes directing the installation of specified dies and tooling in extrusion presses.
Quality Control: Examine samples of products to ensure they adhere to specifications and quality standards. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
Training and Development: Train new employees on operational procedures and safety protocols, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all team members
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any production issues that arise, working closely with team members to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience in Rubber Processing: Previous experience in rubber processing or a related field is preferred, with a strong understanding of extrusion processes.
Experience in PSA/HATS Lamination: Previous experience is highly preferred.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of extrusion machinery, as well as quality control processes.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot production issues effectively.
