DescriptionJob SummaryThis position is responsible for stacking and packing produce in boxes, bags and any other task assigned by supervisor. The Stacker must work with management to ensure all duties are perform in a safe and efficient manner whilestill complying with the proper protocols, procedures, and customer specifications. This is an active role that requires you to work on multiple projects at once.Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Stack product that has been repacked and ensure pallets are being stacked with the correct quantity of boxes as of supervisor/ lead instructions.
- Always ensure that you have been provided with the correct produce and size. If not, you must notify supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a steady workflow by performing the procedures set out properly and in a timely manner.
- Repetitive heavy lifting
- Inspect and grade product within standards.
- Weight specification must be met for all orders.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to produce and packages.
- Help dispose product in dumpster and maintain area clean.
- Will be involved with food safety activities
Other Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assemble cardboards boxes.
- Follow the chain of command.
- Do not leave your job post/ area without notifying the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritized work to meet assigned deadlines.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned and/ or required.
- Possible weekend shift assigned as needed.

Demonstrate and Enforce Health and Safety:
- Follow a company policy and safety rules.
- Ensure personal protective equipment is properly utilized.
- Report any noncompliance issues or unsafe situations/equipment to supervisor immediately.
- Must follow company Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Enforce and actively participate in general housekeeping duties.
Physical Demand and Work Environment : The physical demands must be met by the employee to successfully perform all function of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the job responsibilities and demands.
- Physical demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; stand, use hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust and focus. Able to communicate Talk and hear.
- Working Conditions: Ability to work flexible shifts, such as morning or evenings, including Saturdays and Sundays. Ability to work with vibration, wide variety of noise, heat, cold and moving parts. Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be punctual and reliable. Commitment to safety. Employee must be able to work on Extreme cold.
