We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Superintendent to join our client's team in Houston, TX. This is an onsite role that requires being on 24-hour call-out to oversee production operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure optimal performance and timely delivery.
- Lead and supervise production teams to achieve production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Quickly respond to and resolve any production issues that may arise during and outside regular hours.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure efficient equipment utilization.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Superintendent or similar leadership role in manufacturing or industrial production.
- Strong understanding of production processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent issues.
- Must be able to work onsite and be available for 24-hour callouts as needed.
- Familiarity with OSHA and other industry-related safety protocols.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
