If you think the open position you see is right for you, we encourage you to apply!Our people make all the difference in our success.SPSUS Production SupervisorSUMMARYSupervises and coordinates activities of production workers and workers engaged in packaging drug product and materials for storage or shipment by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Study production orders to ascertain type and quantity of product and other packaging requirements.Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.Interprets specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.Observe packaging operations.Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.Maintain time and production records.Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual department.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Directly supervises 20 to 60 employees in the Production Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
