General Job Description Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Shift: 2nd Shift Status: Exempt Salaried Reports To: Operations Manager Location: Tulsa, OK Job Description: Seeking an experienced and highly motivated production supervisor to join our team. As the production supervisor, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise production processes to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations, budget and delivery requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a large, diverse and talented manufacturing team. The primary goal of this position is to properly organize team members and achieve an efficient and productive work-flow throughout the day. This position will also include directing, disciplining, training, and assisting lower-level manufacturing employees in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise daily activities of assigned employees Assure monthly goals and KPI's are met Set priorities for the team to ensure daily task completion Monitor, track and meet project budgeted labor hours Ensure employees timecards are correct and labor hours are properly recorded including rework Interpret and execute policies and procedures in accordance with WES policies Monitor processes to ensure quality standards are met Coaching/Leadership in assigned departments Communicates with and assists other departments as needed Ensures proper staging of materials at each workstation Ensure production efficiencies meet or exceeds expectations Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques Ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery Maintain a clean and safe environment for all employees Support Continuous improvement Administer company policies consistently and fairly Ensure Quality hold points are followed and all travelers are reviewed and signed off prior to completion Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of supervisory experience in heavy manufacturing environment Read, write and speak proficient English Ability to supervise multiple projects and departments simultaneously Knowledgeable in welding and manufacturing processes Ability to provide clear, explicit verbal directions Ability to plan shop flow and execute plant goals Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to analyze and solve issues pertaining to quality, safety, and production Excellent coaching and communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment Forklift experience is a plus Regular and predictable attendance IES is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer: Minorities, Females, Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Individuals with Disabilities, Protected Veterans Encouraged to Apply.
