Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our factory. This role involves planning, scheduling, and executing production processes while managing a team of 30-40 employees. You will ensure product quality, optimize processes, and maintain a safe work environment across multiple production areas, including CNC, assembly, and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all production areas, including CNC, assembly, and warehouse, ensuring production and quality metrics are consistently achieved.
  • Lead and mentor a team of employees through training, performance evaluations, and daily management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles (TPM, 5S, Visual Factory).
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to address product and tooling issues.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA) to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Oversee production schedules, resources, equipment, and assets to meet operational targets and maintain efficiency.
  • Implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and eliminate defects.

Key Experience:

  • 5-10 years of manufacturing experience, with expertise in CNC, assembly, machining, fabrication, or testing.
  • Supervisory experience, including staff development and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving production goals, improving processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong background in managing production schedules and resource allocation.
  • Experience with BOMs, routings, and engineering changes.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean methodologies and manufacturing best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of EH&S and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with automation in manufacturing processes.
