Are you a seasoned production professional with a passion for lean manufacturing and a knack for leading high-performing teams? If so, we have a thrilling opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Production Supervisor to join our 3rd shift team. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency, and will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in safety, six sigma, lean manufacturing, and assembly.
Responsibilities:
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the 3rd shift production operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.Implementing and enforcing safety rules and regulations to create a safe and healthy work environment.Driving continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies to enhance production efficiency and quality.Planning and organizing production schedules, and reviewing and adjusting as needed to meet production goals.Training and developing team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, and maintaining a high level of morale among the workforce.Collaborating with other departments such as Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve production issues and improve processes.Monitoring and controlling assembly operations to meet customer requirements and achieve cost objectives.Preparing and presenting production reports to senior management.Qualifications:
To be considered for the Consulting Production Supervisor role, you must possess the following:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.A strong understanding of safety regulations and a track record of promoting a culture of safety.Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma principles, with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement.Proficiency in assembly operations, with a focus on quality and efficiency.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing others.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and expectations.Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
