Position Details Location: Richmond, VA Compensation: $72K-$88K Shift: Second Shift (2:15PM-10:30 PM) Benefits: Comprehensive Corporate Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, PTO, 401K) Position Description As Production Supervisor, you will lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into company products in a timely, cost-effective manner. You will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. Responsibilities will include: --- Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. --- Respond to resource issues, as necessary. --- Lead capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line. --- Ensure that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels. --- Identify and recommend technical equipment and facility improvements, as necessary. --- Ensure execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines. --- Identify deficiencies in production area, propose improvement activities, and oversee implementation of actions to improve production performance. --- Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams. --- Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. --- Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Position Requirements --- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent with technical education. --- Must-have Skills: Operations experience in a manufacturing industry preferably. electrical/electronics for at least 5+ years. --- In a supervisory role at least 2+ years. --- SAP experience. --- Willing to work in flexible work hours (2nd/3rd shift and/or weekend).
