We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for leading a team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance conversations.
* Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, meeting daily production targets.
* Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with other departments and leadership to ensure seamless production workflow.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
* Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department for materials and supplies.
* Address any production issues or delays in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
