We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Production Supervisor. Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join a stable and reputable manufacturing company of engineered mechanical components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for overall direction, coordination of department(s) consisting multiple employees.
* Inspects products for conformance.
* Directs setup and adjustments of machines and process equipment.
* Sets/adjusts production schedules.
* Applies and enforces company policies and safety regulations
* Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
* Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
* Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
* Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
* Analyzes and resolves work problems.
* Troubleshoot complicated equipment
* Inspection and Maintenance familiarity with methods and procedures
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree and minimum 5 years Supervisory experience. Mechanical abilities required. Metal Casting and or extrusion experience a plus. Other skills helpful: MRP/Inventory Control; Lean Manufacturing 5-S; and Quality Control. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
