We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team. What will you do day-to-day?
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of production workers, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Production Oversight: Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure that production schedules are met efficiently and effectively while adhering to quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to optimize production workflows, reduce downtime, and enhance overall efficiency. Actively participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards throughout the production process.
- Safety Management: Champion a culture of safety by enforcing safety protocols, conducting training sessions, and promptly addressing any safety concerns.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production metrics and prepare reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
Who are you?
- Experience: Minimum 5 of experience in production supervision or a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of achieving production targets.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage team members at all levels.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and industry regulations.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
- Certifications: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
