Learn more about Kemira at www.kemira.com/careers. We are looking for a production supervisor for our industry and water segment in Bartow, FL who will lead our operations team. This position performs work safely in accordance with established procedures; manages a team of operators; assists with troubleshooting issues and ensures the proper operation of all equipment.In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Managing operation team including external partners, supervising and guiding day-to-day production activities in line with expectations and according to policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Planning activities, coordinating schedules and facilitate workflow of the team.
  • Maintaining accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Monitoring process instrumentation preforming production planning
  • Ensuring safety, legal, and environmental compliance at all times by, for example, conducting inspections, informing and training staff at the site, and enabling close collaboration across departments.
  • Liaising with quality control to ensure products meet quality regulations and standards as well as safety and environment targets. Liaising with maintenance to ensure reliable operations, a safe working environment, compliance of standards, and a clean work area in accordance with policies and procedures.
What you'll bring to the team:
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capacity.
  • Experience with MS office applications including word, excel, power point and outlook.
  • Basic Chemistry and lab skills.
  • SAP, PLC/SCADA, experience preffered
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID desired
  • Experience with heavy machuinery, fork lift certifiction desired
